During TSA’s Superintendent meeting on February 12th, many members expressed interest in seeing a copy of Alief ISD’s Charter Impact Letter that was sent to TEA. The purpose of the letter was to provide TEA with evidence and information that supports their opposition to the Draw Academy charter school application. The attached letter was included in each of the Charter Impact Statements submitted by Alief ISD to TEA.

Alief ISD also plans to send the letter to House Public Education Committee members, The State Board of Education, and possibly the media. Please use their letter as a blueprint for your district.
